Hey peeps. Feel that its time to revive my blog. Haha. Anyway, I am going to write down all my feelings from the day of Nus nursing senior and junior meet up session till the last day of Nus nursing orientation camp.
To be truthful, I felt uneasy at first because I am afraid that I cant make any friends during these three years. But it looks like I think too much. All the seniors and peers are extremely friendly. On the senior and junior meet up session, I have made new buddies, Kiren, Faizal and Jun Xiang.
As for the camp, I truly felt that my seniors are really very caring and friendly. At the first day of camp, my temperature was quite high but I didnt feel that I was unwell. The seniors, one by one, asked me whether I felt better and knew my name. I was like cultural shocked and touched at the same time. As for my OG peers and OGLs, I really felt that we were united and the team spirit was there. We cheered for each other, enjoyed ourselves during fiesta night and really like a family.
In conclusion, I felt glad that I am not alone and had great seniors and peers along the way. =)

From march till now, I have realised that I wasted a lot of time looking for jobs, going to countless of interviews and brooding over countless of jobs rejection. After talking to glenn and allen through msn, I have finally realised what I truly want is not a job, but to learn more and enjoy life as simple is best.
"The world belongs to the discontented."- Oscar Wilde. True enough, everyone seems to stuck in the rat race society. We just keep working to earn more money and will never be satisfied with the amount we earn. Do we really enjoying our life? I doubt so. There is no definite answer to how to enjoy life. To some, having rich fortune,a high salary job and numerous poshe cars are considered as enjoying life. Maybe to others, able to do what they like during their free time, have a sip of hot nice tea and listen to slow soothing classical music are also considered as enjoying life.
Thanks to allen. He has waken me up during this period by telling me that I can do other things other than working. For example, have a vacation or take up some courses. Please move on and be optimistic. Thanks to him that I am taking up courses to learn more things and gain experience. To tell you the truth, I cant imagine myself taking up salsa too. But since I deemed it as a challenge to myself, I will complete it with my heart and soul and learn it well.
To end off, there are many possible routes and solutions to a problem or in life. Dont always thought that it will be a dead end and cry over spill milk. What's done is done. We cant revert back in time anyway.

Recently, I saw a campaign at Tampines Library which stated "Let kindness show". So i decided to reflect on this since I am quite free nowadays. Mother Teresa once said:" Love is doing small things with great love" and" kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless." Indeed, small gestures such as giving up your seats to the elderly, disabled and pregnant ladies and sharing your umbrella with a stranger during rainy days will touch one's heart greatly. People will then show their gratitude to you by saying a simple" Thank you." This feeling is "priceless" and I will not exchange it with anything else.
So, I am asking myself why Singapore needs this campaign especially like "Let kindness show"," Be courteous" and so on. Dont we feel ashamed that we need constant remainders from this campaign? These are reflections of our society today that some of our locals are inconsiderate. That is why the government needs to start these new campaigns. People pretend to doze off when they see the needy people just not to give up their seats. Even the train is full of passengers, there are still people who are hogging to three seats to oneself by stretching his legs. When alighting the mrt, there are instances that you need to nudge and struggle your way out due to inconsiderate people who rush in and dont let you alight. These actions reflect badly on us just because of some "bad apples" to foreigners who came to Singapore for vacation.
Kindness is something that you give without a return and with a true heart. Did not expect everyone to be a saint but kindness on somedays will brighten other's life greatly.

After lots of minute details and thoughts that i went through, I finally realise that friends really do have different levels- be it normal friends, close friends, buddies who go through thick and thin of your life. Dont ever assume that all your friends are your best friends unless you want to suffer a huge setback. People changes. Some changes for good, some changes and turns bad.I feel that everyone has flaws. I also do have flaws.Eg: being lazy, late during gatherings and sloppy. I admit that I am also human and need people to guide me and correct my mistakes. But there is always this word: limit. Until it reached a certain limit, if you still continue to ignore people advice and continue to be yourself, then i am very sorry. I will stay away from you. When i was writing post, i feel that my heart hurts as all these years of friendships are just a facade considered to you. Your actions keep hurting people and isolate yourself from the rest. Once, i have this best buddy. Now, he's gone.

Sigh, until now i have no luck in finding any jobs. On 24/03/09, I went to Xin Wang cafe at marina to start work as part time service crew from 6pm to 2am. I must say that the people are friendly there and willing to teach newcomers. At around 11 plus pm, JJ lin and his company came in and have a meal over there. I was shocked.Lol. First day of work can see him in person. The cafe keeps playing his songs especially Baby Baby. Quite an atmosphere. I must say that he is very cool in person, in a good way. His fashion sense is amazing. R&B plus hip-hop. Haha. If got time, i will be willing to go to his shop and buy some clothes over there. Now, I must focus on saving money for Taiwan trip and future expenditures. Quite tiredx now. Wonder what is the life will be when school reopens?

Finally,i just revive my blog. Haha. Firstly, my ankle is completely healed. Secondly, these few days I have straightened my thoughts and flashback on what I have done. I realised that even if I have no luck in finding jobs, I should spent my time to learn more things instead of idling at home.It will be more fruitful this way. These few days, I learnt how to bake a pizza, from kneading the dough to the final step:baking, cook beef stew and pasta. In the past, I am too lazy to even start the fire. LOL. I came out with a checklist on what should i learnt?
1) cooking
2) ironing
3) at least one musical instrument
4) spanish or jap
Now, i found that cooking isnt as easy as it seems. Once you try it hands on, you will find that a lot of minute details can make a dish tasty or not. Going to NTUC market and buy grocery is fun though. As to ironing, ya i finally learnt how to iron my shirt and pants.
